Picture Frame




There are probably dozens of ways to make a picture frame using can-sheet-metal, can-tubing, and ingenuity. This is my way:

Just make an 8-slice can and cut out panels from it. Use those panels to make small tubing. Then join that tubing into a square shape using ordinary staples and the joining staples technique.

Make the hanger for the photo frame by tracing and cutting the outline of the tab itself and poking a large hole in it, as shown in the pictures in the video above.

Reinforce the photo if necessary by adding an aluminum-sheet backing which you made by removing the top and removing the bottom of a can, cutting the side, and trimming it using scissors.

Incidentally, we don't yet sell the plastic joints shown in the picture above, but we hope to one day.
